Missouri embarrasses MSNBC and Politico and AP...

I can't even pretend to offer any big-picture analysis yet, but the Missouri tug-of-war certainly was interesting tonight. (A bunch of news orgs called it for Clinton, but Obama has apparently snatched it back at the last moment.) As I recall, in 2006 that's sort of the way Sen. Claire McCaskill's Senate race was: Jim Talent was ahead all night, until he wasn't. Given that both McCaskill and Obama have bases of support in St. Louis, I wonder if it isn't just that those districts always report the latest...

Yes, as a former resident of the St. Louis metropolitan area, I can confirm that is almost certainly what it is/was. When it comes to the two most urban areas of the state, Kansas City reports late, St. Louis reports even later. LOTS of black and/or left-leaning vote in St. Louis...likely the deciding factor for Obama.

Not to paint with too broad a brush, but can I appeal to Hispanics here? C'mon, join us, vote OBAMA!!!
